Abstract

This research was conducted as a study of undergraduate thesis in the year 2014 to evaluate special education assistants in the classroom who are subjected to constant exposure of manipulation of excessive loads when performing their work with students with special educational needs (SEN) which can generate musculoskeletal symptoms and influence their quality of working life musculoskeletal disorders due to exposure to ergonomic risk in the workplace are health problems with greater Prevalence in Chile. The objective of this study was to determine the association between the presence of musculoskeletal symptoms and the quality of professional life in the classroom special education assistants in the commune of Talca. The results showed 4 significant associations between the presence of musculoskeletal symptoms and the quality of professional life.
