Syndromes and clinical disorders diagnosed in a university psychological care center 2013-2016

Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the syndromes and clinical disorders of a group of patients at the Psychological Care Center of the University of La Serena (CAPSI ULS). There is currently insufficient systematic evidence of prevalence of cases seen in university centers. A sample of 426 subjects between 3 and 81 years of age, admitted between the years 2013 and 2016, was used to receive some psychodiagnostic and / or treatment psychological benefits. The sample is concentrated in 86.7% in childhood and adolescence. To establish the diagnostic tables, the DSM IV-Tr was used. High concentrations were found in the prevalence of depressive, anxious, attention deficit and adaptive disorders.
