Abstract

Spiritual care is a learning process in which the mystery of one subject meets the mystery of another subject. This requires unconditional listening, free of any prejudice or prior knowledge of any kind. This encounter can then be presented only as a dynamic process in which everyone takes the risk of the other, the risk of a truth that is essentially opening to otherness. It makes make spirituality a space for a shared quest. Taking care of this quest, plunging into the heart of human condition, give full meaning to the expression “spiritual care”.
