Abstract
According to the results obtained by the Physical Education SIMCE 2011, eight grade students must improve their upper body strength. This study aims to generate a localized triceps’ training plan with their own body weight during the physical education classes in a five week program with a sample group of 250 students. The results showed an increase of the medias of 5.598 repetitions, which is reflected in a 16.21% improvement of this quality. When making a distinction between males and females, we found that males showed a 12.5% improvement in their performance, while females had a 21.5% improvement, which can be explained by the existence of a significant difference when applying the Student’s t-test to a confidence level of 95% (p>0.05). We conclude that when performing a motor stimulation program, encouraging results are obtained for substantial improvements in the physical qualities of strength.
