Abstract
This paper discurses theory and application of sport science to children's education. Contradictions that arise from different applications and their classification (including the lack of taxonomic rigor) present problems that impede methodology. An analysis of industrial and ergonomic effects (pathologies and dysfunctions related to sitting, computer use, etc.) shows that early sport training can help to alleviate problems. The paper proposes a training model for children that lead to good health, fitness, and a healthy society in general.
